I've decided to create a music tread because music is the best thing created. Feel free to talk about Bands, your own bands, playing instruments and anything else slightly music related.

Has anyone heard or is anyone a fan of John frusciante(RHCP)'s solo stuff. I've got most of it and I love it. Also listen to Cicatriz ESP on the Mars Volta album as he played most of the guitar on it

As Zylath has pointed out already I am a huge fan of Iron Maiden. (Huge is an understatment). My Maiden collection is ever growing, currently conisting of the Albums: Dance of Death, Edward the Great, Brave New World, Virtual XI, The X-Factor, Somewhere in Time, Live After Death, Powerslave and Killers. I also have the Visions of the Beast DVD which contains all their videos since Paul Di'Anno, through the first age Bruce [censored]inson then to the Blaze Erra and then back to Bruce for Brave New World. You want to know anything about Iron Maiden? Ask you shall learn. UP THE IRONS!

Yea i think most of us know of No'ki's Iron maiden obsession, You planning on going to reading or leeds to see them headlining? Rillietann is somehow No'ki's best friend now as well.
Yea can't wait for the new Mars Volta album, John's playing on a number of tracks(or parts of tracks technically). Should be good! Also I'm hoping the new Lostprophets album will be out before theyear ends, should be amazing. Other albums im looking forwards to include;RHCP(summer!), FFAF(soon!) and The Bravery.
Should be a good year for music in my world. I've got loads of gigs prepared for the summer both for my band and for going to see other bands(13 week holiday, bring on the aftershow parties!)

Seen Iron Maiden twice on tour. Once on the powerslave tour and again at donnington about a year later. Now you know how old I am. Im not a fan tho but Number of the Beast is a good metal album I guess. This week Im listening to Travis last week it was the Beatles The week before it was the Misfits, I listen to everything, years ago I was a confirmed metal head/ Goff( Iwas thrown out of Goffhood tho for smiling too much) Hip hop and boy bands are pretty much the only genres I havent got into oh and pop princesses. Cheap Trick will probably be my favourite tho they never fail to make me laugh or smile or rock out especially with lines like " mummys alright , daddys alright , they just seem a little weird"

at donnington about a year later What I would have given to have been at Donnington, but alas I am too young So far I've only been to one Maiden concert and that was on the Dance of Death tour a couple of years back. Great memories from that concert, and pics. Such as Bruce charging about the stage with the Union Jack held high during the instrumentals of The Trooper ;D Oh, and as for other bands: Metallica, Korn, (New)Slipknot, Manowar, The Sex Pistols, The Clash, System of a Down, Cat Stevens, Genesis, The Offspring, Linkin Park and a couple of others that I can't remember at the moment. *wanders of singing "Judas be my Guide" from the Fear of the Dark album*
