Well back from my trip to blazing hot Scotland and return to some cold, wet and windy weather. Anyhow thought I'd show you guys my new board, I need to make some more scenery still, the stuff in the pic is mainly for WHF. Its made from a 6x4' sheet of 1" thick compressed paper glued and screwed to a 6x4' sheet of 1" thick plywood, then and edging of 1x2" screwed all round the edge. It weighs a ton

So, not only do you have wonderfully painted models to play with, you also have a very nice board and terrian to use them on! I can imagine who much that thing ways; a friend of mines board was very similar, but he managed to rig it up to a pully system so he could lift it to the ceilling out of way and even then it wieghed a ton. Makes me feel abit ashamed of my cityfight board which I was quite proud of. Two sheets of MDF painted with a multitude of greys. Good thing was it's light and easy to store, but then doesn't look as good as this. (Also good to hear it stayed fine in Scotland, usely does when I go...Wales doesn't though )

very nice rillietann. we make terrain in our school club too, but its not a layout like that. we just make buildings, forests, etc. we just cover the table's we play on with a green, brown, or gray blanket depending on if were playing city, desert, etc. keep posting those pictures, they all look really nice!
