Hey I'm just starting a Dark Eldar army but I'm having trouble trying to paint them, mainly i don't know what sort of theme or colour scheme to use, i want something that looks pretty good. I was wondering if anyone knew any sites to give me some ideas? Thanks to anyone that can help. ;D

Firstly, Welcome to Dark Eldar.com
Well I don't realy know any persific sites, but I'm sure some of the people around here could give you plently of ideas. Also if your willing to spend a little bit of money the "Eldar And Dark Eldar Collectors Guide" which GW sell is actully quite a good book for inspersation.
(I'm moving this to the painting board where you should get some better answers)

dark eldar are an exeptionally hard army to get a good colour scheme for, you need something that is dark but easy to highlight. the amount of bright coloured dark eldar armies there are is very strange *no offence to ppl with bright coloured armies* bur dark suits dark eldar better i think. usually blue or red toned armies go best with the dark eldar look. i'll stop there to prevent me from offending anyonge further but all in all it comes down to what you like, i'de say try out quite a few before deciding (i have repainted my army about four times hehe) all from me

Id say go for something Dark to. I chose Dark Green and black for mine. Looks nice and shadowy. I chose my kabal name before my colours as it helps with colour inspiration. So you may want to do that first.

I use a Lich Purple scheme, with some yellow(can't remember which one). The purple is a great dark colour, I use that for the armour, the under suit is black, and the gun and the helment are yellow. for the plumes, if there is one, I use a dark red. the yellow is a great contrast to the purple.
Dark colours are great for DE, and bright colours are a great contrast, though they should not be used excessively.

i'd say go for something dark too. my army is storm blue armor, silver helmet and blades, gory red hair, and boltgun metal for the gun.

See everyone says dark colours work well, and they do; most of my kabal is fairly dark. (Red Gore with a purple wash.) But if applied right I think that light colours work quite well as well. I recently tested out a new colour scheme on a Raider squad which was quite light and I really like it, (although I'm going to be repainting my Kabal ) Think I've got a picture of my light colour scheme somewhere... And while I'm at it here's a not perticulary great picture of my standard colour scheme:
