This story was a proposed story line that failed and thus no longer has any bearing on the history of my Kabal
Sundered Venom: Part 1
The Sundering
No’ki screamed in rage as she swung her punisher, slicing across the stomachs of two more warriors, and then fired her splinter pistol into the face of a third. As she did so she saw another of her warriors killed by the upstarts. So they thought they could topple the heir of Van’Kar from power did they? They were gravely mistaken. She lunged forward slicing another arc into the warriors of the upstart Kizan. With another sweep two more fell. This upstart would not defeat her. At the sight of No’ki’s viciousness the warriors that remained loyal to her turned again to their foe and fought with renewed vigour, firing rapidly into their old counterparts. Soon the entire throne room was swept clean of Kizan’s warriors, their souls consumed by the one they had been sent to kill.
Jabud screeched orders to his grotesque creations as Kizan’s warriors broke down the door to his chamber. He was glad that he had found a way to strengthen his creations as one shrugged off a shot from a hand held blaster before tearing into the one who had fired at him. But even as his creations shambled into the tide of warriors Jabud knew they would not be able to defeat Kizan’s forces, and so fled from his chamber through one of the many secret passages that ran through out the Palace of the Poisoned Claw. As he ran down the labyrinth of corridors he could hear his creations being killed, one by one. At least they had bought him some time, he only hoped No’ki was in a better position than him.
No’ki span round as she heard the slow hiss of the secret panel behind her throne opening, she rose her punisher ready for another fight. Slowly a small, bent figure shuffled out of the darkness behind the throne, it was Jabud.
“So, you’re still alive then Jabud?” Asked No’ki sarcastically to her advisor.
“Just my lord. They destroyed my chambers, killed my beautiful new creations, I barely made it into the tunnels.”
No’ki turned a moment in thought then, “How many have betrayed me Jabud?”
“I would say, two thirds m’lord.”
No’ki cursed under her breath, this would not have happened if Hellspite hadn’t been killed on the bridge of the Soul’s Void.
“This does not look good for us now Jabud, not with the Incubi turning against me as well.” As she said it she drove her punisher down into the corpse of her old Incubi master, Junctra. That had been the first sign of the betrayal, when the Incubi turned their blades on her. But they had underestimated No’ki, she slew them all before any warriors, loyal or traitor, had arrived in the throne room.
“We can not stay her my lord. We will be over run very soon. Your fellow council members are in no position to assist you now, very little word has been sent from any of them. After the dissolution of power from the Ra’Star they became very wrapped up in their own affairs. We must abandon the Palace.”
“Never!” Yelled No’ki, pushing her punisher even farther into Junctra’s corpse.
“You have no choice No’ki! Do not destroy yourself like Van’Kar did!” There had not been so much power in Jabud’s voice for a very long time. No’ki was taken aback at this outburst from her adviser, but she had trusted a lot to him in the past, it was time she did it again.
“Ok, we will make for the webway portal in the old council chambers, I doubt they would have attacked there.” She turned to one of her warriors and whispered into his ear, “Find any who remain loyal to the heir of Van’Kar, tell them to make for the council chambers.”
“At once my lord.” With that the warrior turned and ran from the room as No’ki led the rest of the warriors assembled in the throne room through the secret passages leading to the council chambers.

“Find No’ki and bring her to me alive!” Yelled Kizan to a group of warriors standing before him in No’ki’s bedchambers. He had often dreamt of being in this room, admittedly he had always hopped to bed No’ki in the room, but this was almost as good. But perhaps if these fools did their jobs he could still live his dream, and gain control of the Kabal in the same act. He had begged to No’ki to appoint him her new Dracon after Hellspite’s death, but she had refused, even threatening to hand him over to that worm Jabud if he continued. Well now was his time, No’ki could refuse him no longer.

The first of No’ki’s warriors ran into the old council chambers, yelling to his counterparts.
“Lord No’ki should already be here, hurry up!” Then as he stepped further into the chamber he was felled buy a blast of poisoned crystals from a splinter cannon; five more warriors behind him fell to the shot as well.
“So nice of more of your warriors to join us No’ki.” Laughed Kizan; “Now I can destroy the remnants of all those who apposed my raise to power in one fell swoop.” There was something wrong about Kizan as he stood in front of his warriors, blocking the entrance to the webway portal. His voice was different than it used to be, No’ki noted, more serpent like. But she was concerned about more important things at the moment, like surviving this encounter, and rallying the remains of the Ra’Star council to destroy Kizan and the other usurpers.
Kizan continued, “Just think No’ki, you could have avoided all of this if you only had taken me as your Dracon, and consort.”
“Ha!” laughed No’ki bitterly “You know as well as I that this would have happened whether I took you as Dracon or not, as I would never take you as my consort.”
“That is a shame my deer No’ki. But perhaps you will change your mind after a few centuries in my dungeons.” Kizan turned to his warriors and with a single motion ordered them to kill No’ki’s warriors. As one Kizan’s warriors opened fire, ripping through the first rank of No’ki’s warriors.
“For Kabal! For Lord! For Victory!” Yelled No’ki as she leapt into the warriors, punisher held high above her head. With a sickening crack she brought her punisher down, slicing a warrior in two straight down the middle. A berserk furry had over taken No’ki as she dodged and weaved through the warriors, sending each warrior she passed to their death. She could hear both the cries of her foes and the cries of own warriors as all were felled. As she cut through the twentieth warrior she began to realize that there was no way that her warriors could win this battle, and she could feel the energy slowly draining from her. Suddenly the portal began to throb with life, tearing open an entrance into the webway. Spilling forth from the portal came a large group of not only warriors, but also pirates. At the front of this new force was a tall figure, radiating confidence, but there was something else lying beneath that confidence. No’ki didn’t have a chance to look deeper into this character; his forces had opened fire on the traitor Kizan.
No’ki heard the newcomer yelling to his men, and then to her. “Lord No’ki! Hurry there is not much time! Take your forces through the gate. I will hold it open!”
No’ki span around and filled the face of one of Kizan’s warriors with poisoned shards as she ran toward the gate yelling for her warriors to follow her. She detested this retreat, but it must be so if she were to survive. With that thought still swirling through her mind No’ki leapt through the open portal and into the webway, her saviour close behind her.
