i wouldnt be so sure about that, you'd be suprised how many people would complain and argue about that.
and for fast attack, how bout something similar to a SM land speeder? speedy, lots of gunfire, and possibly a 1-3 man troop?

yeah two archons would be way too over powered, and costly. I dont know about landspeeders as FA, we already have reavers. But what would be cool is if reavers could get some kind of net they through on units. It could pin the unit on say a 4+ or 5+. Though this is simmilar to the terror/horrorfex. but maybe they could net one model, like slave snares on raiders.

well perhaps you could for go something. you present your army on the table with the 2 archons, and the opponent gets to remove a unit of his choice, except HQ.

i've never liked having 2 HQ. it's usually because i like having alot more models then spending alot of points on 1 model, having more gives your opponet more to shoot at.

yeah, more is usually better, but did anyone see WD307(?) where there were 8 monstrous creatures in one team? and only 2 ripperswarms? sometimes less is not always good

ok, his monstrous creatures were: walking hive tyrant flying hive tyrant 3 carnifex (elite) 3 carnifex (heavy) 2 ripper swarms for troops.
excluding rippers, more than 3 wounds for each mostly 3+ save, and 2+ nothing with less then S6 and T7, so no instant kills I2 to beat power fists ignore saves Good WS and BS (6 for each i think)
Holy hell, a truly formidable force. Tank busters too. T7 makes is hard to beat them, you need to focus your ravagers onto them to kill em.
